Ordering Instructions

 

APOLOGY

With our "new" website we had hoped to have true "online-ordering-and-payment" available to our customers immediately. Unfortunately a move of our shop facilities plus a sudden influx of orders prevented this from happening. But make sure to read this page in the future, because it's "on the way".

ORDER  FORMS

The order form for a given item is only available on the page describing that item in detail. This helps to minimize ordering errors.

We use the Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format - ".pdf" extension - for our order form; the form will look the same on the screen and in print regardless of what kind of computer or printer someone is using and regardless of what software package was originally used to create it. The Adobe Reader program is free and available at:

METHODS  OF  ORDERING

1.

Click on the printer icon Printable ... Order Form on the page that describes the item you wish to purchase. This will open a window displaying the order form. You may either print it out from that page or store the page on your computer for later use. We suggest that you keep a copy of your order for your records.

Once you have printed the form, select the item(s) and enter the quantity(s) you wish to order. Enter the total for each item selected in the far right column. Carry these totals to the bottom of the page. At Martin Model & Pattern we recognize that none of us are perfect; each order form lists all of the castings supplied with that kit so that you may order any replacements needed.

FREE SHIPPING IN USA ( DOES NOT APPLY TO FLYWHEELS ) : Whenever you see this, it means what it says; if your shipping address is outside the USA or you are ordering flywheels there will be shipping charges. You will need to enter these in the "SHIPPING COSTS" space near the bottom of the form. The "$ 50 / 20-lb" means that the charges are based on the number of 20 lb. units. Thus 0+ to 20 lbs. is $ 50; 20+ to 40 lbs. is $ 100; 40+ to 60 lbs. is $ 150; etc. We will refund any overpayment.

Determine your method of payment and select the appropriate box. If you desire to pay by credit card you may write the information in the appropriate place or you may phone it in to us; we accept Visa and MasterCard. Make sure that if you do use a credit card you use the same name on the order form as is on the card.

You may "snail mail" the order to us; you may fax the order to us; or you may "scan" the order and send it with an email to us. Our mailing, fax, and email addresses are at the top of each order form.
 

6.

If your shipping address is different from your mailing address, you must include the shipping address. Shipping is by USPS Flat Rate Box unless you specifically request an alternate carrier.
 

7.

If you have any questions about pricing or shipping charges, do not hesitate to contact us. Email is preferred as we are busy filling orders during the day. If you need to telephone, please note that we are in the Pacific Coast time zone - a time zone clock is on the "Contact" page.

RETURN  POLICY

If there is a major defect in any casting which affects its appearance or function, it may be returned and a replacement will be shipped. Please contact us prior to returning the defective part. Castings are guaranteed to meet the customer's satisfaction. If the customer makes an error while machining a casting replacement parts are available at a reasonable cost - see the order form for part/casting number and price.
